Does the library have any study guides?
Answer
The library has several resources that can be helpful both as supplementary reading during the semester and for exam prep.
First-year courses:
First year students should take a look at our research guides for 1L courses: Property, Torts, Contracts, Criminal Law and Civil Procedure. For each subject, we've highlighted several works aimed at students. If you're not sure which to use, 1L students at William and Mary have reviewed many of the same aids that we have highlighted:

Dig in to cases:
AudioCaseFiles from CVN Law School provides audio recordings of opinions commonly read in first and second year courses (HLS registration required). You can also explore cases in depth through the "Law Stories" series. Use the ISBN to locate a copy in HOLLIS/HOLLIS Classic
Test yourself:
If you want to test your knowledge, try CALI for online tutorials or review past exams: 1871-1995, 2002/3-present (Harvard Law log in required).
General study advice:
For general advice on approaches to law school, studying and exams, search HOLLIS/HOLLIS Classic for the subject Law--Study and Teaching--United States or for keywords like "law school" "success" "study" "examinations" "exams"
Commercial guides:
The library does not collect commercial study tools (e.g. flashcards, Gilbert's & Emanuel outlines), but many are available at the Harvard Law Coop.
