Books checked out to a carrel shelf cannot be recalled. The books are in-library use for the semester. If a patron wants to look at a carrel book to make copies they may do so, but they must stay in the Library with the item and put the item back on the carrel promptly when done.  If for any reason a book needs to be removed from your carrel (to be put on reserve or for faculty use), you will be notified by Library staff.
