For free online dictionaries use, for example, NOLO or Black’s Law Dictionary 2nd Ed.

Harvard affiliates and visitors to the Harvard Law School Library can access the latest 10th edition of the Black’s Law Dictionary online via Westlaw (or Westlaw terminal at the HLSL). Printed 10th edition is also available at the Library in the Reference section on the 4th floor (call number KF156 .B53 1990.)

For a particular language, search Hollis+ by typing ‘law dictionary [language]’ in the search field. To limit search results, choose ‘exact phrase’ or ‘subject’.
