A quirk in the Canvas system requires that the user set notifications for both “Student Appointment Signups” and “Appointment Signups” in order to receive notifications of reserved and unreserved slots. It is strongly suggested that you set all the Scheduling notifications to ASAP if you are using the scheduler for office hours sign ups.
