The Harvard Law School Library is not a public law library. Our priority is serving the Harvard Law School and Harvard Library community.

Consider a public law library, many of which offer remote research assistance. You can find public law libraries in your state at our guide to Local Law Libraries.

Advise you on how to handle a legal situation or interpret the law for you

Tell you which laws or cases are applicable to your case

Print or send documents from our databases to anyone outside of the Harvard Law School community
