The Documents on File Program is a service offered by the Library to student journals at the Harvard Law School for the purpose of retaining unpublished, difficult to access, or ephemeral sources cited in the journal. These documents are held in Harvard Law School's Historical & Special Collections. Documents transferred to the Library are identified in citations using the following explanatory parenthetic: “On file with the HLS Library”.  If you are interested in material in this collection, please contact Historical & Special Collections

Please note that some documents cited as being "on file" were not deposited with the Library. In those cases we suggest contacting the journal directly.
